Christmas Inspiration for the Soul

This is the time of the year when we are stressed about bills, crowding store and long lines at the post office so it's nice to roll the window up and listen to music that touches the soul. I have always had a special affinity for Irish music so when it is combined with Christmas it is the perfect combination of peace on earth and goodwill towards men. The selection is by Loreena McKennitt- Noel Nouvelet.

Ave Maria

Here is a video of Kathleen Battle singing Mascagni's Ave Maria. I love finding new renditions of Ave Maria and will share a few of these with you this season. I'm hosting a special Christmas Eve show on Adrenaline Living Talk Show at 10 AM CST with the tenor Michael Londra of Riverdance fame. Michael has a new Christmas album called Beyond the Star and the songs have a lovely Irish quality of other-worldliness.
